We proudly restored this bike piece by piece with the owner. 1970 Kawasaki H1. A two stroke 3 cylinder machine that back in its day, was smoking fast (emphasis on the smoke please!). Many of these fine machines got lost in time. They were brutally fast in a straight line and even by today it can embarrass quite a few modern sport machines in a 1/4 mile race. Capable of turning low 12 second 1/4 mile times in stock trim, Kawasaki was determined to become the speed king in the 1970s with this lightweight giant killer. Sadly enough its poor handling and poor braking also killed more than just its compettition and was nickname the "Widowmaker" shortly after its release. Combined with low sales numbers, many of these machines did not survive and there are few of them left on the road today.
